Delete your WorkforCrew account

This page explains how to delete your account in the WorkforCrew – Seafarer Jobs app and on workforcrew.com (developer: SINAOPT Kft.), and which data is deleted or kept.
Option 1 — delete it yourself (takes one minute)
- Open the WorkforCrew app or workforcrew.com and sign in.
- Open Settings (seafarers: menu → Settings; employers: menu → Settings).
- Scroll down to Delete account and press Delete account….
- Confirm. The account is deleted at once and you are signed out.
Option 2 — ask us
Write to support@workforcrew.com from the e-mail address of your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete it within 30 days (usually within 2 working days) and confirm by e-mail.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in data, profile (name, contacts, date of birth, nationality, photo, languages, education).
- Sea-service records, uploaded CVs and documents (passport, seaman’s book, certificates, medical certificates) — also from the file storage.
- AI interview recordings, transcripts and assessments; video interview recordings.
- Applications, contact requests and notifications; push-notification tokens of your phones.
What is kept, and for how long
- Payment and invoicing records (employers only): 8 years, as required by Hungarian accounting law.
- Consent records and the employer activity log: only to prove compliance or handle a dispute, at most 5 years.
- Technical logs: up to 90 days.
Delete some data without deleting the account
You can delete any uploaded document on the Documents page, a video interview recording on the AI interview page, and edit or remove sea-service records, education and profile fields at any time. For anything else write to support@workforcrew.com. More details: Privacy Policy.
